Throughout the 5th District, each county's volunteer team will be competing to see who can make the most phone calls from lists supplied by the Webb Campaign. The winner will get bragging rights and a fun prize for their county's committee! More information to follow about how to join Greene County's Day of Action Effort.
Phone-banking from the comfort of your home:
Mondays and Wednesdays, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
We strongly encourage you to sign up for a scheduled phone-bank if it fits your schedule. An auto-dialer will be used; to be effective, it requires at least 5 to 6 people to be calling at the same time. Sign up to phone bank here. You will be trained beforehand with a Zoom training session.
Prefer to text rather than phone? Text-banking: the campaign has a digital texting community already up and running! To join, you can sign up for texting training here.

Dr. Cameron Webb, running as a Democrat for the U.S. Fifth District Congressional seat, deserves the vote of everyone of good will and good judgment. That includes all who believe we deserve a better break than we’ve been getting from the federal government. Dr. Webb has what it takes to listen to voters and act with drive, intelligence, and knowhow to get them what they’re asking for.
Dr. Webb is a man of decency and high character who believes in the best in all of us, even at a time of partisan rancor and division. His drive is obvious from his career accomplishments: a law degree as well as an M.D., a White House Fellowship, and the position of Director of Health Policy and Equity at UVA’s School of Medicine.
Having grown up in Spotsylvania, Cameron well understands the needs of Virginians who live outside the urban power centers. Serving as a doctor and teacher in Charlottesville, Dr. Webb has worked on the front lines of response to the Covid-19 pandemic. He has wrestled personally with the deficiencies of our health care system and understands what is needed to fix them. In his stint at the White House, Cameron served not only on the White House Health Care Team, but also on President Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Initiative where he helped tackle issues in education, workforce development, and criminal justice reform.
Cameron Webb’s accomplishments are too numerous to mention here, but one in particular shows convincingly he has the kind of political and organizational skills needed to make the impact we need in Washington: his resounding victory in the Fifth District Congressional Democratic Primary, where he took two-thirds of the vote against three other exceptionally well-qualified candidates.
The Greene County Democratic Committee endorses Cameron Webb for Congress. We need Dr. Cameron Webb to represent us in Washington. We should all pull hard to get him there.
